Clara is a gentle and affectionate 4-year-old brown tabby who truly blossoms around other cats and calm, patient humans. Found as a stray, she has quickly adapted to the safety and comfort of indoor life and now delights in cozy blankets, sunny windowsills, and peaceful companionship.
Clara loves the company of other cats. She gains confidence and comfort from feline friends and would do best in a home that already has a cat or two who are friendly and mellow. Whether snuggling up nearby or simply hanging out in the same room, Clara feels most at ease when she’s surrounded by furry companions.
While she’s still learning to enjoy being picked up or sitting on laps, Clara adores gentle petting and will happily sit beside you as you relax. 3. The adoption counselor will check your references: landlord/condo association, and veterinarian (if applicable).
4. An adoption counselor will schedule a time for you, your family and any other pets to meet the pet(s) you've applied for.
5. A virtual home visit is also necessary. If possible, the entire household should be present for the visit.
6. To make the adoption official, a signed adoption contract and an adoption fee will be collected before the animal is placed in your home. The adoption fee are payable by cash, zelle or check only.
All previous medical records and adoption policy will be turned over to the new adopter during the adoption meet.

CPR is a foster/volunteer based rescue, with a 501c(3) non-profit status, dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned animals. We do not have a central "shelter" as all of our animals are placed in foster homes until forever homes can be found. Our goal is to rescue as many animals as we can safely manage thru foster homes.
