Luca is a charming, approx. 2 year old, husky mix who arrived at a Texas shelter with his three siblings and parents, escaping some tough circumstances. He was in a foster home in Texas before being transported to another foster home in Iowa. He is still looking for his forever home!
Luca thrives in the company of other dogs, enjoying spirited games of chase in the yard, tug-of-war, and cozy naps by their side. While he has a dominant play style, he’s made plenty of doggy friends through proper introductions. Although he can be a bit skittish at times, Luca adores human companionship. He appreciates a good scratch and loves to sleep at the foot of the bed, but he’s also content being left alone when needed. Luca is well-behaved and knows commands like "sit" and "down." He’s shown his good manners in public outings. True to his husky nature, he loves to chat but is surprisingly quiet at the door, not alerting bark when visitors arrive or when the neighbor’s dogs bark.
Luca is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped.
