Sir Bentley Fitzsimmons a/k/a Bentley is and adorable, sweet and fun loving 9 yr old 11 lbs ( he's a bit chunky) Yorkie rescued from a local shelter. Bentley LOVES to play fetch more than anything, he also likes tug of war and playing with other small dogs. He is housetrained and will scratch at the door to tell you when he wants to go out. He was given up due do to landlord issues and we suspect that is because he has a very large bark for such a very small dog! He is heartworm tested negative, vaccinated, neutered, chipped and had a much needed dental and tooth extraction. He does not mind cats at all. Bentley seeks a local home with another small dog. Furniture privileges are fully expected. Fenced yard is preferred but not required. Due to his size, no small kids please. Local Inquiries only!
Must haves:
-Must be willing to play fetch a lot, and I mean a lot!
-Must be willing to buy lots of toys
-Must have another small dog - under 20 lbs
-Must reside in Metro Atlanta

-Apartments/Condos, anything that shares walls with the neighbor
-Out of state or non metro Atlanta
-Small kids
-No similarly sized playful canine companion

More about this rescue
We are a network of foster homes of people who provide temporary foster care primarily for Cherokee County's strays and displaced animals while they await their forever homes. Our primary foster homes are approved fosters for Cherokee County Humane Society. In addition, we list animals for other licensed rescues. Many of our rescued pets come from shelters, but we also take them in directly from owners when we have room. This allows us to lessen the burden on the shelters. We also help independent rescuers place their rescued pets. Lastly, we also provide postings for owners needing assistance in rehoming their own pets
