Hello, I`m Cheerios. I`m curious and love to watch the world go by from my cat tower. I`m still getting used to all the new faces, but am learning to like pats and affection. They feel strange but nice. I`m starting to understand that hands aren`t so scary; they bring food and loving strokes. I can`t wait to have a home where I can explore and learn more. Adopt me and I promise to fill your life with curiosity and quiet companionship. I may seem a bit shy, but I have a lot of love to give.
MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES: CHILDREN: I could be a good match with calm, respectful children. CATS: I could be a good match with another friendly cat, after a slow introduction OTHER DOGS: I have never met a dog. A proper introduction with a quiet, respectful dog could go well.

If you are interested in an animal you’ve seen on our website, you can call 519-833-2287 or send an email to learn more about them. You can also stop by the shelter to meet the animal in person. It may take a few visits to find the animal that is a perfect match for you.
You can stop by the shelter Monday through Sunday from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.
You may wish to call the shelter before visiting to confirm the location and availability of the animal you would like to meet. The UCHS staff can let you know if the animal is currently at the shelter or at one of our remote locations, such as a foster home, local pet supply store or our Thrift Shop.
