How can we help? The EARS team is available to support along any steps during your adoption process and after the adoption.
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Apply to Adopt on our website. No commitment to adopting the animal but helps us understand your preferences and ensure a good match.
- Approve Application
- Application Review .Our team will review your application and get back to you within 3-5 days. We appreciate your patience.
- Meet the Pet
- If approved, we will connect you with the foster family to arrange a "meet & greet." This step is required for dogs, may be optional for cat
- Take the Pet Home
- After paying the fee, you can take your new pet home the same day or arrange a convenient time with the foster family.

Edson Animal Rescue Society (E.A.R.S.), established in June 2012, serves Edson, Alberta, and surrounding areas including Hinton, Whitecourt, and Edmonton. As a no-kill rescue, we are committed to giving every animal a fighting chance. Operating entirely through foster homes, our animals live in loving environments rather than facilities. Led by a dedicated team of volunteers, including our Board of Directors and foster homes, E.A.R.S. is a non-profit organization and Registered Charity, ensuring that all funds raised directly benefit animals in need.
