Meet Lion-O, our big, handsome grey boy with gorgeous golden eyes! If you are a fan of large male cats, Lion-O definitely wants to meet you! Don't tell him, but he does need to lose a few pounds and has begun his weightloss journey with a special diet (Royal Canin MultiFunction Urinary/Satiety Formula).
Lion-O is a sometimes shy boy who is friendly, independent and calm. Just go slowly with him, let him come to you and adjust at his own pace. Once he is familiar with you, he will purr up a storm (and make biscuits) and you will have a big, grey friend for life. He is playful, enjoys treats (in moderation, of course) and would love to find a home with some comfy beds and a nice big window to look out.
Lion-O is up to date on all of his vaccines and vet service. He is healthy, microchipped, neutered and has a negative combo test and negative fecal exam.
HOW IS LION-O WITH OTHER PETS?
Lion-O may do well with other friendly and non-aggressive cats. We always suggest a slow, controlled meeting and introduction if there are any other cats in the home. Lion-O is a big fan of friendly dogs and would not mind living in a home with one.
We are not sure how he does with friendly dogs, as he has not been around them. He may do well with older children who don't try to pick him up.
If you are looking for a young cat to add to your family, come and meet Lion-O, spend some time with him and see if he is a good match for you and your family.
