Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Milo – A Resilient and Loving Companion!
Milo’s journey is one of remarkable strength and resilience. He came to the rescue as a stray with a serious pelvic injury that severely affected his hip socket. After careful evaluation, the difficult decision was made to amputate his leg to relieve his pain and give him the chance at a happier, more comfortable life. That decision truly changed everything for Milo. He recovered beautifully and is now thriving, showing just how strong and adaptable he is.
Despite having only three legs, Milo gets around wonderfully and hasn’t let it slow him down. He enjoys gentle playtime and does very well with other dogs of all sizes. Milo loves toys and balls, especially during calm, relaxed play sessions. He is not a fan of roughhousing and prefers a peaceful environment where interactions are easygoing and kind.
Milo would do best in a home with other dogs, as their presence helps him feel safe and secure. He can be nervous in new environments and will need a patient family who understands that it may take him some time to feel comfortable in a new home. With consistency, reassurance, and canine companions nearby, Milo settles in and begins to show his sweet, affectionate personality.
When he’s not playing, Milo is a total love bug. He adores belly rubs, cuddling, and quietly soaking up affection from his people. He is fully potty trained, sleeps comfortably in a crate, and has wonderful house manners.
Milo is available for adoption in Texas only. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who would thrive with other dogs and a patient, understanding family, Milo may be the perfect fit.
