Maximus - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life!

Hello all you fantastic people out there, let me introduce myself. My name is Maximus but y'all can just call me Max. I'm here hoping to get me a home...one where I can be part of the family...YOUR family!! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping you'll consider ME to be your newest member!

At only 8 months and around 45lbs I found myself in the doggie slammer figuring I'd be doing 10 to life. What a relief when this wonderful rescue gave me a second chance on living the good life!! Will you take a chance on me too?!

But through it all, I still have a gentle loving nature that does great with people both tall and small and who loves to make new doggie friends, whether they are big or little. Although, how I do with cats in unknown as I haven't had the privilege of meeting any yet.

I look like a Labrador mix with maybe a Bernese Mountain Dog. My coat is short but thick with just a touch of curl.

I have this adorable lil smile, am active but not hyper and love being by your side (wherever that may be) a real velcro type of pup. I'd love to be part of an active family where I will surely show you my appreciative side in all we do!

I am house and crate trained which lets us get right to the fun stuff, right away! I am that pawsomely perfect medium size for, yes, everything. I'm so ready to share in ALL your adventures from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting. That makes me an ideal companion for a family that likes strolls in the park, hiking nature trails, camping trips and when the day is done, for curling up on the couch while we watch a movie.
