MEET EMBER, a sweet but shy and scared female hound mix, in need of a foster or forever home. Ember was rescued from a crowded California shelter with her male pal Bailey. He is also scared/but not as much. They can be adopted together or apart. Ember is a 4-year-old female, and she weighs about 63 lbs. Both of these dogs were likely stuck in a backyard and as such, became frightened of humans, who didn't treat them right. They have done well with other dogs. If you can open your home and heart to Ember, and are able to give her the time she needs to adjust, please consider her. She is a gentle dog, and has waited awhile for a real home. These dogs are being fostered in Idaho. We are a registered 501c3 animal rescue organization in the State of California. We adopt out dogs in Southern California and in the Pacific Northwest, and in some cases we work with rescue partners in specific locations, to help facilitate adoptions.
