Found wandering and injured over a year ago, Cowboy Caviar was initially very frightened, but has become more acclimated to shelter life.We think this sweet, shy boy may have a little Chow Chow in him, but the truth is we don`t know much about his heritage or background. What we do know is that he is learning to walk well on a leash and harness, he likes chasing after toys you throw, and seems to love cuddles. He could really use someone to take him home and then take the time to get to know him, because here at the shelter it’s hard to get past the initial wariness that comes when you’re a sensitive sort who’s been let down by people in the past. Once you get him outside the kennel and give him a little love and sweet talk, he becomes a different dog—a friendly guy who is desperate for love and direction. Please give this Cowboy a chance to ride off into a furever home!
