Winter is a gorgeous 4 year-old pittie mix with a soulful gaze and an even more beautiful heart.

Rescued in TX, her journey hasn’t been an easy one. This resilient mama lost her litter of puppies due to poor health and care. But Winter didn’t let heartbreak define her.

Thanks to love, patience, and rehabilitation, Winter has blossomed into a happy, affectionate pup ready to embrace her second chance at life. She adores cuddles, long walks, and showing off her playful side. Her gentle demeanor and unwavering loyalty will melt your heart. An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

Go meet their pets

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
