I'm a sweet soul who believes in the simple pleasures of life - like solving puzzle feeders (I'm quite the pro!), giving kisses, and crawling into laps for quality cuddle time. While I may have some physical challenges that make me unique, they don't define me or dampen my spirit! I'm a smart cookie who loves showing off my "sit" and "paw" commands, and I take great pride in being a good girl. High-energy activities aren't really my style - I prefer gentle companionship and meaningful connections.
What I'm Looking For:
I'm seeking a patient, understanding person who appreciates the quieter side of life. My perfect match would be someone who can provide a calm, structured environment where I can feel secure and loved. Since I find cats rather too interesting, a feline-free home would be best. I do well with other gentle dogs who respect my space, as shown by my peaceful interactions with my shelter friends. Currently, I'm on heartworm treatment, so I need someone who understands that our initial time together will focus on gentle bonding rather than active adventures.

PAWS Columbus, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to prevent overpopulation and suffering of companion animals, to teach kindness and responsibility toward them, and to promote the remarkable capacity of pets to enrich human lives through pet-assisted therapy programs. We work in partnership with the City of Columbus to enhance and supplement the services offered by Animal Care and Control, reduce the need for euthanasia of unwanted animals because of severe pet overpopulation and find a loving and compatible forever home for every adoptable animal.
