My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our sweet baby Maisie. Maisie is a fan of chin scratches, good snacks and a warm/fluffy bed. She is a very smart cat girl and loves to explore new areas! Maisie is pretty laid back and would love a nice calm home to snuggle up in.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Lake Norman Humane utilizes a conversational approach to the adoption process to help find the best match for your household. Please stop in to speak with an adoption counselor Tuesday-Friday between 12:00PM-6:00PM and on Saturday between 12:00PM-4:00PM.

Go meet their pets

We welcome visitors during our business hours:

Tuesday–Friday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Please note that the last tours are taken back 30 minutes before closing.

No appointment is needed to stop by during these hours! Upon arrival, you’ll complete a short adopter profile, and our team will pair you with an adoption counselor to help find your perfect match.

We offer same-day adoptions, but if you have a dog at home, we require a meet-and-greet to ensure compatibility.

Our facility is located at:
2106 Charlotte Hwy, Mooresville, NC 28117

We look forward to helping you find your new furry family member!
