My story

Hi there! I’m Marie, a one-year-old mix of all things adorable (seriously—wait until you see my DNA results!). My journey started off a little bumpy when I was being given away at a grocery store as a tiny 6-week-old pup, but thankfully a Good Samaritan swooped in and brought me to safety.

Now I’m living my best life in a loving foster home with two doggy friends and two amazing young kids who shower me with love and help teach me how to be a great family dog. I haven’t met any cats yet, but I’m full of curiosity and always up for learning. I’m a playful pup with a silly streak and just the right amount of mischief—what can I say, I keep life interesting! I’m growing, learning, and ready to find a forever family of my own. Could that be you?

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $425
1 year - 6 years $375
7 years+ - $325

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
