Hamlyn is a beautiful, sweet, and playful young cat who first appeared in an outdoor colony in SE Rochester on 1/15/25 before being rescued and taken in by CC. Since then, she’s been lovingly fostered in a home with other cats, where she’s been learning how good indoor life can be!
Though a bit shy at first, Hamlyn is trustworthy and respectful of her space. Once she’s had time to adjust, she enjoys the freedom of the home—but she does best when she’s introduced gradually and given time to build trust. When she’s busy exploring or playing, she may find a quiet spot to hide, but when she’s sleepy or knows it’s mealtime, she’ll happily come over for pets and cuddles, and she’s easy to hold.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
