Iris is a sweet, playful girl. She came to AFH from a North Carolina shelter. She has made great strides in overcoming her shyness and did amazingly well at her first adoption event. We can see her confidence growing. Iris loves to play with other dogs and is gentle with everyone she meets. She cannot resist a squeaky toy and loves to play! When she is with her people, she lights up and wags her tail. She has learned to walk on a leash, is crate trained and housetrained. She came from a situation where a backyard breeder ended up with too many adult dogs on her property. If you are looking for a gentle, playful, loving girl, Iris is your dog!
