Jiggly is naturally a bit reserved, but she has made wonderful progress with gentle care and patience. She does best with people she knows and trusts, and when she feels comfortable, she enjoys a few gentle head rubs. She also gets along great with cats and that really helps her see that people aren't so bad. With a stable home and an owner who can offer patience, love, and attentive care, Jiggly would blossom into a loyal and loving forever friend. Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
