Meet GANDALF!
GANDALF was saved and cared for by Muscat Dog Adoption before traveling with other rescued dogs to Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine. He arrived in the US on January 28th, 2025, and has been settling in well at the rescue.

About Wadi Dogs
Stray dogs in Oman, often called “Wadi Dogs,” are a unique mix of sighthound breeds, thought to descend from the elegant Saluki and other smaller agile breeds, many resembling whippets. Without rescue, these dogs often face harsh fates such as being shot or hit by vehicles.
Adoption Details
Adoption fee: $350
Location: Sebec, Maine
Families must complete and submit an adoption application
Once approved, you’ll be invited to schedule an appointment to meet GANDALF and hopefully take him home
