We call her Piper, she was abandoned in a tree farm behind our property. It took us 2 weeks to catch her. Vet says she is a Whippet cross who was extremely malnourished and obviously abandoned. She could not tell that she was spayed. She was vaccinated for rabies and dhlpp. She is heartworm negative and was treated for hookworms and given preventative. Vet recommended a spay in 3 weeks after weight gain. She is very submissive to our elderly dog, has chased our chickens but never harmed them. She was housebroken and knows what a puppy pad and doggie door is. Someone loved her at some point in her short life. Very high energy and has proven to be easily trainable. She will need an experienced dog person, I currently have cancer and am unable to properly work with her. She is not food aggressive but she will eat anything, she has a food anxiety from going so long without. She is a wonderful dog with so much potential.
