All our animals available for adoption have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, as well as seen by our resident veterinarian. Same day adoption only.
Adoption steps

- Visit our website, click on an animal, click the Adopt button, and fill out the online application. No tours or public visits currently.
- Interview
- Over the phone interview.
- Meet the Pet
- In-person meet and greet at shelter.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Pay Fee
- Take the Pet Home
- Same day adoption only. We do not accept holds.

The UCSPCA is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to prevent cruelty to animals by providing temporary shelter and finding adoptive homes for homeless, abused and neglected animals; conducting cruelty investigations; eliminating the crisis of homeless animals by providing low-cost spay/neuter services for cats and by spaying or neutering all animals offered for adoption; providing humane education; and by working to improve laws to end animal cruelty.
