My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Woodrow is a 2-3 yr old Plott Hound. He is active, playful and seems to react just fine to other dogs. He keeps his kennel area clean for the most part....only having an accident, on occasion, when we are not here to let him out.

He is just over 70 lbs. Prior to adoption he will be neutered, be vaccinated, heartworm tested and microchipped.

He is social and welcomes attention from anyone that is welcome to give it to him.

Adoption fee of $200 and includes vaccinations, rabies vaccination, worming, spay/neuter with pain injection after surgery, heartworm test for dogs over 6 months, microchip and a County Dog License.

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
