My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dozer! ☀️🐾

Dozer is an easygoing adult Hound who has truly mastered the art of relaxation. His favorite pastime? Finding the perfect sunny spot to stretch out and snooze the day away. This laid-back guy is the definition of a gentle soul, and he’s looking for a family that appreciates life at a slower pace.

Dozer loves simple pleasures—warm sunshine, soft beds, and the company of kind humans. He’s the perfect companion for someone who wants a calm, steady friend by their side. Whether you’re reading on the porch, taking a leisurely stroll, or enjoying a lazy Sunday, Dozer will be right there with you.

If you’re searching for a sweet, mellow hound with a heart of gold, Dozer might just be your perfect match. Come meet him and let him brighten your days with his peaceful, sun-soaking charm! 🌞🐶Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is based on making the right match. Though people can apply for a specific animal, we would like to know more about lifestyle and match a pet with that lifestyle. For example, we would not want to match an active dog with an inactive one. Therefore, our primary concern is the interview process and getting to know the potential adopter.
