Watch My Video: A little glimpse into Newton’s world

Meet Newton, this sweet and affectionate pup is ready to steal your heart! Newtons lovable personality is one of the first things you will notice, he greatly enjoys time with his humans whether it's outside going for a walk or making himself fit on a chair with you that's clearly made for one!

Newton’s favorite things include being outside and soaking up the sunshine, begging for delicious treats (preferally chicken) and sniffing all the amazing scents the great outdoors bring. Newton is very smart and when his puppy eyes don't work to get some tasty treats he will happily show off his sit and down commands. His brain is always up for a challenge and he's got a super sniffer so he'll find any treats you scatter for him, he love's to play find it! His big pointy ears pick up everything and anything so don't think you can sneak away without him noticing!

Newton also participated in our annual slumber pawty event! He enjoyed cuddles all night with his sleeping partner and didn't make a peep! He was the best boy and now looking for his forever slumber partner!

Newton prefers his own space and observing dogs from a distance so he's looking for a home ideally with no other dogs present. If you're looking for a sweet, smart and affectionate companion, Newton is the perfect match!

Walk-ins are welcome! Stop by during our open hours to meet our available dogs!!

Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/36924/generic. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
