Meet Sasha – Small, Mighty, and Full of Personality!

Looking for a loyal companion who will be your ride-or-die best friend? Meet Sasha – a 45-pound bulldog mix with a big personality packed into a sturdy, compact frame. She’s looking for a very special home that will understand and appreciate her strong bulldog spirit.

 Sasha’s Story & Personality

Sasha is a one-of-a-kind gal with a big heart—and big opinions. She’s selective about her people and her dog friends, and she doesn’t hand out her trust to just anyone. She prefers women and can be wary of men at first, but with patience and time, she can warm up once she feels safe. That said, she is not the kind of dog who wants to meet all your guests — she needs a home where people understand that not every pup enjoys being approached right away.

She’s a vocal little bully, known for making the signature bulldog “yelp-grumble” when she wants attention, wants to go outside, or is just announcing her presence. It’s not exactly a bark—it’s more of a quirky bulldog noise that will make you smile if you’ve heard it before.

Sasha is food-motivated, potty trained, and loves a good walk around the block. She enjoys a routine, quiet environment where she can feel in control of her space and bond deeply with her people.

 Sasha’s Ideal Home

Because of her selectiveness and sensitivity to new people, Sasha would do best in:

  •  A female-only home
  • An adult-only environment with no children
  • A home with no other pets, where she can be the queen of the castle
  • A low-traffic household with few visitors or guests

She’s not the right fit for someone looking for a social dog who wants to greet the whole neighborhood—but she’s absolutely perfect for someone who wants a loyal companion, a walking buddy, and a goofy, vocal, loving best friend.

 The Right Person for Sasha

Sasha is looking for a confident, patient, and understanding adopter who sees her for who she is—a strong-willed, loving dog who just needs the right environment to shine. Once she trusts you, her loyalty is unshakable.

If you’re a bulldog lover or a fan of the “underdogs,” Sasha might be your perfect match. Come meet her and see if your home is the forever home she’s been waiting for.

More about this rescue

We are a private, non-profit rescue located in Sanford, Florida, dedicated to the rescue cats and dogs. Many of them come to us with medical needs. They are doctored to the best of our ability and resources.

Our most urgent goal is to rescue animals that are abandoned or in distress, update their vaccines, and find good new homes for them. But we attempt to be more proactive than that. It is our heartfelt desire to prevent any animal from the need to be "rescued." With that vision in mind, we take a three-prong approach through the education of pet owners and the general public about:
- proper care of animals, including correct diet of good quality food, fresh clean water, daily exercise, and lots of love
- spaying and neutering companion animals (dogs and cats) in order to prevent euthanasia and over-population
- low-cost spay/neuter clinics and wellness centers in their local community
