My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Electrolux 💛

Electrolux is doing so great, and her absolute sweetest personality has truly blossomed with time, patience, and lots of love. She is a perfect example of how rewarding it can be to let a shy kitty come out of her shell at her own pace. It took about 2–3 months of consistency and gentle care for Electrolux to feel fully comfortable in her foster home, and the result has been nothing short of wonderful.

Once she trusts you, Electrolux is incredibly affectionate. She melts into pets, soaks up love, and now even allows herself to be picked up for cuddles. As her confidence has grown, so has her voice—she’ll happily let you know when she wants something and can often be found being a little nosey in the kitchen.

Electrolux is a great eater and loves wet food and all cat treats, though she’s less interested in dry food. She’s also very playful, and interactive play has been a big part of building her confidence and bond with her people.

She would truly thrive with a kitty friend in her forever home, as she seems to want a feline companion to bond with. She currently lives with a dog and does fine overall, though she may hiss if the dog gets too close—she would do best with a dog that is calm and respectful of cat boundaries.

Electrolux still needs a gentle, patient approach, especially in busy or loud environments, as she can be skittish when there’s a lot going on. She is such a sweet soul who just needs someone willing to move at her pace.

It’s also worth noting that Electrolux experienced some tummy issues early on, including occasional diarrhea outside the litter box, which seemed linked to stress or changes in routine. With medication and probiotics, this resolved, and she hasn’t had an episode in a long time—but it’s something to be aware of as she adjusts to a new home.

Electrolux is a truly special girl who will reward a patient and loving adopter with deep affection, quiet companionship, and a heart full of love. If you’re willing to give her the time she needs, she’ll give you everything in return. 💕
