Shadow is a 6-month-old hound mix with a smart and patient personality that makes him an amazing puppy to bring into your family. He adores kids and has a naturally gentle nature, making him a wonderful companion for little ones. While he hasn’t had much playtime with other dogs, his sweet demeanor suggests he’ll do just fine with canine friends. Shadow is doing great in his kennel at night and potty trained. He’s eager to learn and will grow up to be a loyal and loving family member. If you’re looking for a furry companion to grow up with your family, Shadow is ready to bring joy and love into your home! Apply to adopt Shadow at HeberSpringsHumaneSociety.com
Shadow's adoption fee is $125.00 cash or check and includes first shots, worming, microchip, and sterilization. We have a dog park to check compatibility with possible sibling dogs. Please fill out an adoption application at HeberSpringsHumaneSociety and a volunteer will contact you in 2-3 business days. The application is not on the Adopt-a-Pet website.

More about this shelter
Our orginzation was founded by Doug Bakko. Funds were raised to build the original shelter on land donated. The shelter has since been expanded using donations and fund raisers. We are the only Shelter in Cleburne County. Our operating funds come from our Thrift Shop, donations, fund raisers and some assistance from the city of Heber Springs, surrounding towns in Cleburne County. We work very hard keeping animals happy and healthy. We do this because we love animals and want to give them a safe haven and every chance possible to go to a loving home.
