Meet Peppermint Patty: This GORGEOUS little girl was found abandoned at the end of 2024, skinny and cold alone on a playground. After fruitlessly searching for her family, she was nursed back to health, growing leaps and bounds and is now ready to find her furever family.
Patty is about 11 months old now, currently 51 lbs and still growing by leaps and bounds. She *should* top at around 65 lbs, but that is an educated guess, as we do not know her Parents or DNA makeup. Patty is quite active and playful, loves playing with some of her foster's other dogs, while evading correction from one of them who acts as the "fun police". As a puppy she is still working on house training - she is doing pretty well most of the time - she also likes to explore her world with her teeth. Learning what is appropriate to chew on (HER toys) and what is not (people, shoes etc) is ongoing, she redirects well, with typical puppy short attention span.
She is looking for a home with another playful dog for her to play with and to learn from. As she is mouthy and jumpy, older kids if any would be best. She is also still learning leash walking and general house rules, so patience, time and attention is also required. She can not yet "hold it" for a full work day, so SAHM/D or Work from home is desired.
