Meet Linus, a 5-year-old, 50-pound sweetheart with a heart of gold and a story of strength. Despite a rough start in life, Linus hasn’t let his past dim his spirit — he’s one of the friendliest boys you’ll ever meet! He never meets a stranger and believes every new person is a friend waiting to be made. Linus is a happy, outgoing dog who’s ready to leave his old life behind and focus on all the good things ahead. He would do best as the only pet in the home, as he’s not comfortable around other dogs, cats, or young kids. What Linus really needs is a home with structure and guidance — someone who can give him consistency, boundaries, and lots of love. In return, he’ll give you endless loyalty, affection, and companionship. Once he’s part of your life, he’ll stick by your side through thick and thin. Linus is also a big fan of the simple joys: he loves tennis balls, playing fetch, and going for long, peaceful walks. He’s great on leash and enjoys showing off his good walking manners. When playtime is over, Linus loves nothing more than curling up on a big, cozy dog bed or burrowing under soft blankets — it’s one of his favorite things! He’s food-motivated, loves treats, and is always happy to share in a snack or two. Linus is truly a special dog — sweet, loving, playful, and loyal to the core. He’s looking for someone who can give him the stability and care he deserves, and in return, he’ll fill your home with joy, laughter, and unconditional love. If you’re ready for a best friend who will always greet you with a wagging tail and an open heart, Linus is waiting to meet you!
