Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you ready to welcome a little black magic into your life? Look no further than Ghost, the charming house panther with a heart of gold! This handsome teenager is breaking stereotypes and stealing hearts!
Ghost is a spirited 9-10 month-old kitty who’s ready to find his forever home! He is high-energy and thrives on daily playtime, especially with wand toys and puzzle games—he loves a good challenge! Recently rescued from a crowded shelter, this energetic boy is still learning his kitty manners and needs a patient adopter who will continue to guide him. He sometimes thinks hands and ankles are toys, but he’s making great progress with gentle corrections. His foster mom says he’s super smart and believes having more space to explore will help him channel his enthusiasm in a positive way. Once he settles down, he’s a total cuddle bug. Ghost is looking for an adopter who will engage with him, provide structure, and enjoy his playful antics! While he hasn't had much experience with other cats, we believe he'd like a friend.. He runs at them wanting to play, not attack. So a confident feline companion who won't be intimidated by his eagerness and will stand their ground would be purrfect..
Bombay cats are medium-sized cats with a muscular build. At first glance, a Bombay kitty might look like your average cat with black fur. But upon closer look, you notice that their noses and paw pads are also black. Even their whiskers are usually black. They're also shinier than your average black cat. Their glossy coats have a patent leather-like shine, because they were specifically bred to look like a black panther. Because they're highly active and playful, Bombay cats love environments with plenty of opportunities to climb and explore. Cat trees, cat shelves and interactive toys are must-haves for Bombay kittens and adults alike.
It's true that black cats like Ghost are often overlooked for adoption, but he's here to change that narrative. Don't let his color fool you; he's just as loving and wonderful as cats of any other hue. Give Ghost the chance he deserves, and you'll be rewarded with a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories! Make him yours!! Updated 3/7/25
