Their adoption process

The adoption processes & procedures are structured to ensure a minimal negative impact/experience for the dogs. We appreciate your understanding & patience.

* All of our dogs’ vaccinations are up to date: rabies, DHPPL (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, Leptospirosis), Coronavirus, Canine influenza and Bordetella (kennel cough).
* All dogs are spayed/neutered, unless otherwise indicated, and microchipped.
* Additionally, all dogs are tested for 4DX (heartworm) and parvo/corona/distemper/giardia.
* Monthly heartworm/flea/tick preventions are all done as well.
* A Dog GPS tracker is included in the adoption fee to ensure the safety of the dog.

More about this rescue

Adopt Korean Rescue is a volunteer-based federally registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted dogs in South Korea find a new home in Canada.

We love Korean dogs. Many of them live in chains, give birth on the side of the road, or wander around with their pups. Some of them get caught and end up at dog meat farms or high-kill shelters in South Korea. They luckily meet us just before euthanasia or after many years of living in dog meat farms. We exist to hold their paws and help them find a forever home in Canada full of joy and happiness.

Our dog rescue work depends on our flight volunteers. They help us safely bring our dogs from Korea to Vancouver or Toronto airports, where the dogs will find loving forever or foster homes.
