Meet Ricardo!

Date of Birth: January 11, 2022

Ricardo is a handsome and sweet boy with a gentle soul. Despite having cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), he’s a super independent dude and really has no issues doing things by himself. Ricardo appreciates scratches and pets and will happily accept affection when he's in the mood. His calm and loving demeanor makes him a great companion for someone who is patient and willing to let him approach at his own pace. Ricardo is looking for a family who will provide him with a safe, loving environment where he can continue to grow and feel secure.

Ricardo is fully vetted and ready for his forever home, including vaccinations, snap test, deworming, flea/tick treatment, neutering, and microchipping.

Application and home check, adoption contract. Fees according to prevailing rate for local area. Generally $105 for kittens, and adult cats in Humboldt County, may be slightly higher in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

More about this rescue

We rescue animals from high kill shelters or abandoned local strays and foster them until they find an adoptive home. Our southern branch also goes out on emergency rescue calls for cats in drain and sewer pipes, up trees, stuck in walls etc. Transport in available up and down the state of CA. We also TNR local stray and feral populations. The plight of homeless animals moves us deeply. It is unspeakably horrific to see gentle loving animals killed simply because they are homeless. While we cannot save them all, each one saved deserves it. We are a 501c3 registered, CA non-profit corporation.
