My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bella!

Bella is a 3 year old mixed-breed dog weighing almost 40lbs. She came to Saving Hope in December with her 7 puppies. Now that her puppies have all been adopted, Bella is looking for her forever home! Bella has just moved into her temporary foster home, after being in boarding to recover from being spayed.

Bella is dog-friendly with slow introductions but also wouldn`t mind being an only dog. She loves being around her human and getting lots of attention. I don`t have any cats or small children so I`m not sure how she would be. Bella is very eager to please and treat motivated so was quick to learn the routine with her two foster male golden retrievers.

When I walk Bella by herself she does great with very little pulling, I only have to make small corrections. When I walk her with my dogs she does pull a little because she wants to lead. She is potty trained and will let you know she needs to go outside by standing at the back door and making the most adorable whimper. She is crate trained but does have some anxiety about being in there. Over the last week her anxiety has gotten better as she has started to trust me more and more.

Bella has been just the absolute sweetest dog. She follows me around the house and honestly just wants to snuggle next to me as much as possible. She has had a rough start in life and deserves someone that loves her as much as she will love them.

To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
