Meet Ladybug!

Ladybug is a lovable 3-year-old Labrador Retriever and Hound mix, weighing in at a perfect 40 pounds. She’s fully vaccinated, healthy, and all set to find her forever home!

This sweet girl has a zest for life and would make a great running or hiking buddy—she recently joined a volunteer on a jog and absolutely loved it! But don’t worry if you're more of a homebody—Ladybug is just as happy lounging in a backyard with a tall fence, soaking up the sunshine. A doggie sibling would be a bonus, but she’s perfectly fine being your one and only.

Ladybug does have a prey drive, so she’s looking for a cat-free and small animal-free home (no bunnies or farm animals, please). She's been raised around children and is always gentle and affectionate with them at adoption events.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
