My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sadie is a lively, high-energy girl who came to us as a stray and is ready to find her forever family! She’s full of personality and isn’t shy about sharing her thoughts – Sadie is very vocal and will keep you entertained with her fun and expressive nature. Sadie is looking for an active family who can keep up with her boundless energy! She loves being outdoors, running, playing, and staying busy. She’s the perfect companion for someone who enjoys outdoor adventures, long walks, and fun playtime.
While Sadie is full of enthusiasm, she does need some work on her manners. She’s a smart girl and just needs a little guidance to help her become the well-mannered companion we know she can be. With the right training and consistency, she’ll thrive!
Sadie is dog-selective, so if you have other dogs, a meet and greet will be required to ensure they’re a good match. Sadie’s adoption fee covers her spay, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test, and other treatments, so she’s ready to start her new life with you.
If you’re looking for a fun, energetic dog with the potential to be an amazing companion, Sadie could be the perfect match for you. Come meet her today and see if you’re the active family she’s been waiting for!

More about this shelter

The mission of the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown is to provide a safe haven for lost, homeless, and abused companion animals; to help reunite lost companion animals with their family; to find new homes for adoptable and abandoned animals; and to aid in strengthening the human to animal bond.

It is the dream of the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown to have a community where no companion animal is left to starve and fend for itself; and where companion animals have a comfortable and loving place to life until a permanent home can be found.
