My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

With his soulful brown eyes and the most charming little eyebrows, Joey is a heart-stealer
just waiting to meet his forever family. This adorable 2-year-old Chihuahua may be a little
hesitant to warm up to strangers—especially men—but once he feels safe, he’s ready to
snuggle up and shower his favorite people with love. Joey is especially comfortable with
women and would do best in a calm, patient home where his adopter can help him continueto build confidence. Sweet, cuddly, and full of charm, Joey loves spending cozy time with his person and gets along well with other friendly dogs. He is a great leash walker and very adventurous! Joey loves to explore the world. He equally loves playing fetch with his favorite squeaky ball and curling up on the couch with popcorn to watch a rainy-day movie. If you’re a woman looking for a loyal little companion, Joey is ready to fill your heart and home with happiness. Open your heart to this little lovebug, and he’ll reward you with a lifetime of joy, laughter, and unconditional love.

More about this rescue

Saving animals in need by providing foster, adoption and rehoming services through our community based ‘loving home to loving home’ foster model. Our dedicated foster home network helps animals avoid stressful shelter environments by placing them directly into loving homes until their new adoption homes are found.

We believe cats and dogs are part of a family, whether that be a single person or any configuration of folks who can provide love, care and safety to their foster or adopted companion animal.
