Ghost was sadly abandoned by his owner and being fed by a neighbor when ACPS took him in. Quiet, calm and a little shy at first, Ghost is a loving, well-behaved gentle giant who doesn’t understand why he was left behind and has been doing his best to find reassurance wherever he can. Ghost is housebroken and very smart, and while he does pull a bit on the leash at first, he does already know some commands and is very smart and responsive. He takes treats gently and might do well with another mellow dog companion given slow introductions. Squeaky toys and peanut butter are some of his favorite things--now all he needs is a home. Please don’t be spooked by Ghost’s sad past; the future will be bright for him if you just give him a chance!
