Meet Bakersfield!

Howdy, I’m Bakersfield, a 3-year-old shepherd mix with a stunning all-white coat and a heart just as big as Texas! I recently made the journey from a California shelter, and I’m still figuring out this Texas life—but so far, I’m loving the adventure. I’m potty trained, know my basic commands, and have a playful, fun-loving spirit. Whether it’s a game of fetch or a long walk, I’m always up for some activity. I am also great with kids.

One thing you should know—I’m not the biggest fan of being crated. I’d much rather be out and about, hanging with my people, and enjoying all the love and attention I can get. I’m looking for a home that will help me settle in, show me the ropes, and let me be the loyal, loving companion I’m meant to be.

Our fees range per animal and we will discuss this during our phone interview. Dogs are between $250-500 and cats are between $175-400.

The Saving Hope Animal Rescue strives to rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving homes for abandoned, neglected, and abused domestic animals. We are located in Fort Worth, but reach out to other communities in the DFW area.
