Like her name, Maya is truly a sweet illusion—soft, gentle, and full of charm once you get to know her. This young girl adores her toys and is always up for playtime, especially with other fun-loving dogs who match her energy. She’s also very food-motivated (okay… very enthusiastic about snacks!), which makes her eager to learn and a joy to train.
Because Maya loves her food so much, she can be a resource guarder, more so with other dogs than with people. For this reason, she’s looking for a home with kids 10+ and adopters who are mindful about feeding time. Maya does wonderfully with playful canine friends, but meals and high-value treats should always be given separately so everyone stays happy and safe.
With a little structure, patience, and understanding, Maya will blossom into a loyal, joyful companion—proof that sometimes the sweetest things reveal themselves once you look a little closer. 💕
