Here's what the humans have to say about me:
So our Delta girl is ready to find a family to call her own. Delta was found as stray after Hurricane Helene and no owner ever came forward for her. Delta is estimated to be 1 - 1.5 years old - she came to us testing heartworm positive and we have since had those treated and her microfilaria test was negative on 1/24 which is great news. Delta is current on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, dewormed, she is current on her monthly heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention.
She is currently 52 pounds and as you can see from the pictures she is a beautiful girl
Here is what Delta's amazing foster Mom, Kara, had to say about her:
Delta is a super sweet girl. Although she is very timid and a little fearful of new people, once she becomes comfortable with you, all she wants is to be with you. She LOVES attention and will climb in your lap for pets. Delta is housebroken and crate trained. She does great with other dogs, with slow and proper introductions and loves all her foster fur brothers and sisters. She has also done great with kids. One thing about Delta is she does all her rough housing and crazy play outside, once she is inside she becomes calm and chill. She also loves car rides
We will require a fenced in yard for Delta as well.
If you are interested in adopting this amazing girl - please go to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org and fill out one of our adoption applications. We will not proceed with a meet and greet until the application is received and reviewed. We do check references and require a home visit.
Delta's adoption fee is $250.00
All of our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina - we do not have a facility.
Please share this girl as we know the perfect family is out there for her and she is so deserving of that

Their adoption process
1.
Submit Application
Before we will schedule any meet and greets we require our adoption application to be filled out
2.
Interview
Once the application is received and vet reference is checked, the foster would call and tell you more about the pet
3.
Home Check
If both parties feel like it could be a good fit we would schedule a meet and greet at your home
