Hi. My name is Kia. My brothers and I were surrendered to ASF from a backyard breeder who got mad because we didn’t sell for Christmas presents.
I love to get pets and belly rubs and scratchies behind my ears. I’m not so sure about being held yet, but I definitely like to cuddle up close.
Foster mom sometimes calls me Princess because I think I run the whole place. I definitely keep my bigger brothers in their place. There isn’t much that intimidates me and I will tell you about it if need be.
I’ve had fun here, but one of my brothers has found his furever home and I’m ready to find my own family to live with, too. I love playing with my littermates and my foster mom’s big dogs. I would love to have another friendly dog to play with.
Foster mom says she thinks I would love to have some little humans to call my own, but they should be a little older. She says I have to remember to not jump up on them (I’m really trying to do better) but she is happy that I don’t tend to nip at all. I’ve not seen little humans before, but if they can give me extra lovins, and attention, I’m all in.
A few other things to know about me. My birthday was 11/3/2024. I’m a petite little girl, I was 11.8# at my 12 week checkup (I did gain almost 2 pounds from my 9 week appointment). Everyone who sees me says how cute I am. My little nubbin tends to stand straight up when I’m happy and it wiggles a lot! I’m working on this potty training thing. My new family will have to be patient with me while I figure it all out. Kia is UTD on her age appropriate vaccines but may need her final round dependent upon her adoption date. She is microchipped, and on HW and flea prevention. There is an additional $50 spay/neuter deposit. It will be refunded upon proof of spay when age appropriate. There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furever family.
Kia is currently located in Jackson, OH.
