My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lana is a 1 year old husky and she is a sweet and affectionate girl. We saved her from pbacc where she was only 6-7 months old. She came in with no boundaries and training. Her foster has done a great job teaching her commands, helping her not jump on people for attention, and working on obedience training. Now, she sits for attention and love. Lana knows all of her basic commands like sit, down, paw, and stay! Lana also has really good recall for a husky! She is potty trained, and she walks well on a leash! Lana is super dog friendly, but she definitely has a rough playstyle! She is a super petite husky weighing only 38lbs! Lana is great in the car and she is definitely a husky you can take everywhere with you!
We are looking for a husky experienced active home for Lana. She has a lot of energy and she definitely needs a fenced in backyard and tons of mental stimulation. Lana needs a home who will continue showing her boundaries. When she is super excited to see you she can be jumpy, so its important that this behavior is not reinforced. She would do best with an active young husky in the home to bond with, as she loves being apart of a pack! Or another young high energy dog who likes to rough play would also be a good match! She is crate trained, and she loves her crate, she will even go in willingly when its open! Lana also would make a great running or hiking buddy! Since Lana can be a bit jumpy at times a home with kids over 10 would be best. She is great at the dog park and doggy daycare, and its a excellent way for her to burn out her energy!
In the home, Lana is super cuddly and extremely affectionate. She has a lot of love to give and we know the perfect forever home is out there for her.

Additional adoption info

Please visit:
https://www.gtshuskyrescue.com/adopt

We have a thorough vetting process to qualify potential adopters. Checking the vet reference is the most critical. If the check is good the adopter is invited to meet our beautiful dogs at the GTS Husky ranch.

Go meet their pets

We only allow pre-approved adopters to come and meet our dogs at the GTS Husky ranch.

We do however hold weekly adoption events at the Jupiter PetSmart, please see our Events page for dates and location.
