Born in late 2024 and raised, almost entirely in shelter walls, Aphrodite has missed out on the warmth and comfort of a family - yet she still greets the world with curiosity, kindness, and quiet hope. She might be shy at first, but once she knows she's safe, she'll melt into you with soft affection... or surprise you with her signature army crawl of joy when she gets excited.
What Makes Aphrodite Special:
- She loves all dogs - big, small, young, old - and does best in homes with canine companionship
- She's so well-behaved and socially smart, she's often used to temperament test new dogs at the shelter
- She does beautifully with cats, too
- She adores car rides and peacefully watches the world go by through the window
- She finds joy in water play, nature walks, and quiet moments with her people
- She thrives in calm homes where she can continue to build her confidence at her own pace
- She's participated in a "Reading to Rescue Dogs" program, where young children sit and read books to her - and she listens with the sweetest, most patient heart

Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.
All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.
The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300
(unless a reduced fee applies )
