My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fun Calico facts:

Calico’s have a tri-color coat; they have at least three colors in their fur.
Calico’s are predominantly female, like the Tortoiseshell cat.
Calico’s are known to be a good luck charm.
In 2001 the Maryland State legislature named Calico cats as the official state cat.

Paloma has been with us for 343 days, or 11 months. This sweetheart is way too sweet to have been passed up for so long.

Paloma was surrendered to us at no fault of her own. Paloma came in with Bellini, who is also looking for her fur-ever home. Paloma is nervous and hides a lot of the time in her little cubby. She does like to climb high if she gets the chance to, she likes to be able to look over all of her people.

Paloma is estimated to be around 5 years old, she has a slick short calico coat. She has beautiful green eyes that can look right into your soul. Paloma was in a house with other cats and tended to keep more to herself. She would do good in a house as the only cat, or with one other feline friend. She hasn’t been tested with dogs.

Paloma is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. Paloma has opened up in the 11 months she has been with us. She likes to roam and has claimed a cat tree all to herself. Paloma is really a sweet girl, just wondering why she isn’t in a fur-ever home yet. Can you be the family that gives Paloma a purr-ever home?

Once your application has been approved, we will disclose the private address of the Foster who has the animal you're interested in. Our fosters are all located in northwestern Wisconsin, and Shelli can be present if requested or she is available if the foster isn't herself.
