$50 Adoption fee! Why so low? Yakima County is spilling over with stray and dumped dogs. Our goal is to get dogs into the right homes ASAP so we can help other dogs in need. It's not about the money, it's about finding the right home for these pups! Daisy (brought in with Sissy) was brought to the Humane Society very neglected, severe overgrown nails, matted hair, severe dental disease, and a collapsing trachea. She had several teeth pulled and is on steroids for her trachea. Since being in our home, she has become quite active (which she needs since she is overweight - the steroids cause weight gain as well). She loves to be around the other dogs and will sometimes warm your lap, but gets too hot, so prefers to lay beside you. She is very treat motivated and is loving all the scratches all over her body since the matts are gone. We would love to see her adopted with Sissy but it’s not absolutely necessary. This dog is located in Selah, WA. PetFinder allows multiple postings of the same animal as long as the postings are 100 miles apart from each other. This way we can reach far and wide to find the perfect home for this dog. If driving to Selah is difficult for you, we will do our best to find a rescue partner to meet you halfway.
