My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dinozzo (AKA Dino)! Even though he's one of the newer kids on the block, he has already made lots of friends here…even our big dogs don’t react to him. We have discovered that Dinozzo does get motion sickness on the windy roads, so his new family will need to consider medication prior to a long road trip.
Dinozzo is about 2 years old, and weighs 66 lbs. He has a nice fluffy coat, and that awesome Husky tail! Dinozzo got a field trip and this is what the handler had to say about their time together, “He rode nicely in the bed of the truck. He is a typical husky with the everyone is my friend attitude. He properly met a new dog without any issues as well as with all persons. He showed much improvement with his recall training and started acknowledging his handler wanting only praise and petting for reward. He’s very aware of the lead never getting tangled up in the line. With just gentle correction and redirection, he was walking next to his handler through town. He was complimented on his good looks more than once, so be ready to get noticed. Some obedience and exercise will build a lasting bond with this handsome young male.” Watch the videos in the comments on our Dinozzo biography on the Dogs of Del Norte County Facebook page!
Disclaimer - Research the Husky breed before applying. They are escape artists, vocal, stubborn, wickedly smart, and have a heavy shedding coat. They are friendly, fun loving & always up for adventure.
Older children recommended or should be closely supervised with younger kids, he does "lean in" and likes to roll over for belly rubs that could cause a toddler/small child to fall over. He's a bit too cat curious and would probably do best in a home with no kitties.
