My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Shadow: A Shy but Sweet Black Female Cat

Shadow is a beautiful young black cat who was once part of a feral colony, and though she’s still learning to trust, she’s making wonderful progress. Her ear tip indicates that she has been spayed through a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program, which means she’s already received some care and attention to help her on her journey to finding a safe, loving home. She was brought into the rescue when she was found with an injured front leg. She continues to walk with a limp but it doesn't slow down her zoomies or stop her from jumping and playing.

While Shadow is very shy and scared at first, she has shown that, with time and patience, she can be a sweet, affectionate, and playful companion. She allows you to hold her and has even started sleeping on your lap, a sure sign that she is beginning to trust and feel safe. She loves toys and treats! Though she may need a little extra time to fully come out of her shell, Shadow is young and open to building a strong bond with her future family.

Shadow may do well in a home with other younger, calmer cats who understand her shy nature. A quiet and patient environment will help her continue to gain confidence and feel secure.

If you’re ready to give this gentle, shy girl the time and patience she needs, you’ll be rewarded with a loving companion who will continue to grow and flourish in her new forever home. Shadow is waiting for the right person to offer her the peace and comfort she deserves.

Adopt Shadow today and watch her blossom into the loving cat she was always meant to be!

We provide all initial wellness care, including vaccines, deworming, checking for mites etc., for each kitten and cat under our care.
