How bout this, "❄️🐾 Posey: A Gorgeous Girl Searching for a Home Before Winter Gets Any Colder ❄️🐾
2 years old · 45 lbs · Fully Vetted
Posey has now been waiting over 300 days — nearly an entire year — for someone to choose her. While other dogs come and go, Posey has watched season after season pass from the same kennel-style foster setting, still holding onto hope that her real family will find her. In all this time, she’s had only one single meet-and-greet. 💔
Now winter is settling in, and the chilly, stressful kennel environment is wearing her down. Posey is overwhelmed, anxious, and beginning to lose that spark she once had. What she needs more than anything is the warmth of a home, the comfort of a couch, and the steady presence of a person she can finally call her own.
Because underneath the stress is a dog who is truly extraordinary.
✨ Goofy and theatrical — her expressive face can tell you exactly how she feels in a single look.
✨ Tender-hearted and affectionate — she leans in close and melts into anyone she trusts.
✨ Loyal once she bonds — she becomes your shadow, your snuggle buddy, your constant source of love.
✨ A winter cuddle professional — she thrives in cozy blankets, soft beds, and quiet nights at home.
✨ Full of personality — she can go from silly to soulful in seconds.
Posey does have mild stranger danger — she may bark when meeting someone new. But she’s wonderfully predictable and incredibly food motivated:
🍪 Give her a few treats, a calm introduction, and a little patience, and she warms up quickly.
Once she realizes you’re safe, she blossoms beautifully and bonds deeply.
Her needs:
🐶 Dog-friendly with slow introductions
🐱 No cats
💗 Sensitive, loving, goofy, and expressive
🏡 Desperately needs a true home environment — not a kennel
Posey isn’t just another dog waiting in rescue. She’s a gorgeous girl who has held on for more than 300 days, watching other dogs be chosen while she continues to wait. She deserves to spend this winter wrapped in warmth, comfort, and love — not in a stressful kennel."
