Meet Posey, a 2-year-old emotional support project wrapped in fur, feelings, and a love for licking unsuspecting humans. She’s looking for her forever home — preferably one with snacks, patience, and zero cats.
Let’s start with the basics: Posey has stranger danger. If you’re new, she’ll look at you like you just crashed her diary-reading session. But give her some time (and possibly some cheese), and she’ll be your shadow, emotional support buddy, and personal face-washer.
She can’t hold her licker. If you're standing, sitting, or existing, she will lick you into submission. Your eye, your leg, whatever she can reach.
Posey is packed with big feelings, and she expresses them all. Loudly. Often. Through dramatic sighs, deep stares, and spontaneous zoomies. She’s a walking mood board with the affection level of a clingy toddler and the energy of a squirrel who’s had an espresso shot.
She’s also a dog’s dog... eventually. Posey likes other dogs, but needs a little time to warm up — she’s kind of like that person who comes to the party, takes 30 minutes to say hello, and then suddenly won’t stop talking. Sometimes, she can be a little annoying to other dogs (think: enthusiastic little sister energy), so she’d do best with a tolerant, patient dog friend who doesn’t mind her slightly chaotic social style.
No kitties for this girl. She says cats are suspicious, fast, and just... too much mystery for one dog to handle.
Posey’s ideal home? One with humans who understand that trust takes time, cuddles are sacred, and licking is her love language. She promises to make you laugh, snuggle like a pro, and be weird in the most wonderful ways.
If you're ready for a dog with big love, big quirks, and an even bigger tongue — Posey’s your girl.

Feline adoption fees - $125 for kittens under 8 months, $100 if over 8 months, and $60 if over 9 years old.
Canine adoption fees - $350 for puppies under 1 year, $300 if over 1 year, and $200 if over 7 years old.
