My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chocolate is a 8 week old female mixed pup. She was born to mama Anabelle who was found dumped pregnant in San Bernardino. She is playful and rambunctious with his tiny but mighty personality. Like most puppies he's food motivated and has been puppy pad trained. She does great playing with his siblings but is in the mood for a home where she's the only puppy. She's been eager to play with the other dogs around and is just a joy as most puppies are. She also wants people to know, she knows he's small and cute, but one day he will be big and cute. So please adopt for the dog they will be and not for the puppy they are now! Having toy time, play, walks, and outdoor time are all vital parts of keeping a young dog happy and fulfilled.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

You can set up an appointment to either meet one of our animals in facility or in foster. Were happy to meet in the middle or at parks.

2.

Submit Application

We do have an application process to learn more about you and your household and make sure you find your perfect pet.

3.

Meet the Pet

We like to meet at parks or neutral places to help build comfort before moving into the households.

4.

Home Check

We do a home visit with the pet the week the pet goes home so that they can be introduced to the environment in a less overwhelming manner.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption contracts cover the basic pass over of ownership as well as guarantees the pet has somewhere to go if anything happens.

6.

Pay Fee

All adoptions have a required expected donation to help supplement the funding put into all our animals.

7.

Take the Pet Home

We are happy to bring your pet home to you and help with the transition in any way that is needed.

Additional adoption info

For some of our adult animals we provide a trainer to help keep transitions as smooth as possible.
