This nearly 3-year-old, 53-pound foxhound mix is full of energy! True to her breed, Ellie Mae loves to run, so she’d thrive with an active companion (the 2- or 4-legged kind). Ideally, you have a fenced-in yard where she can get plenty of exercise. Parks and other dog-friendly areas also provide a wonderful opportunity for Ellie Mae to sprint and for you to watch in awe, wishing you had even a fraction of her energy!
When it’s time to come inside, this young girl settles down nicely, oozing with love and affection. Your family will melt as she shows this softer side of her personality.
Speaking of reasons to adore her, Ellie Mae has also proven herself to be quite clever. She’s mastered several commands, and she’s eager for you to teach her more.
